When you search a location on RentAFriend, it encompasses a 30-40 mile radius. Many of the Friends on the website are willing to travel or at least meet half way. We found that the 30-40 mile radius produces the best results when searching.

When searching for a Friend on the website, you can sort results by "most active first" or by "location first" on the results page of your search.

Click "by location first" will show you the closest Friends first near you. The results will be sorted by the closest first to the furthest last.

You also have the option to choose "most active first". These results will show you the most active Friends first.

A "Recently Active" Friend is any Friend who has recently logged in, checked a message, replied to a message, or updated their profile.
