How does the text messaging system work?
Text me & Email me right away: When you receive a new message from a Member, by default, you will receive an email and a text message to inform you that you have a new message in your account.
Email Me First: You also have the option of receiving an email first, rather than a text message. If you do not check your inbox, you will receive a text message 24 hours later to remind you of your new message.
You can set this option by clicking on on "SMS/Text Notifications" on the left side menu.
Standard text message charges may apply from your wireless provider. If you have an unlimited text messaging plan, there will be no additional charges. RentAFriend.com will NEVER charge you for sending or receiving messages.
